Residents associations can play an important role in strengthening communities and bringing residents together. To ensure that our residents enjoy a pleasant living environment, a functioning, well-organized residents association is essential. For this reason, the Residents Association Jan Sofat (in Dutch: ‘Buurtvereniging Jan Sofat’) was established in 1987.

The association has taken on the following tasks:

• Infrastructural maintenance and implementation of security measures
• Overseeing of personal obligations
• Collection of membership fees
